Technical inspection

The technical inspector monitors the implementation by the Builder’s mandate. The inspector’s work is to monitor the compliance with laws, regulations, norms, and in addition to that also to check and control the quality of the implementation process. The technical inspector is the Builder’s local representative at the building site during the building implementation process. His main tasks during the full building implementation process are the facilitation and monitoring of the compliance with the relevant laws, regulations, norms, contracts and the implementation document.

The technical inspector’s precise scope of work is determined by the agreement of the parties, meaning that the Builder specifies his or her expectations in an agent contract. If the complete list of tasks is not included in the contract or the parties refer to the current legislation in force instead, then the Implementation Codex defines the kind of activities that must be done in the frame of the technical inspection.
